Contango ORE Announces Underwritten Public Offering of Common Stock
FAIRBANKS, Alaska--Contango ORE, Inc. (“Contango” or the “Company”) (NYSE American: CTGO), today announced it has commenced an underwritten public offering (the “Offering”) of (i) shares of its common stock and (ii) accompanying warrants to purchase shares of its common stock. The shares of common stock and warrants will be issued separately but can only be purchased together in the Offering. All of the shares of common stock and warrants in the Offering are to be sold by Contango. The Offering is subject to market conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the Offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the Offering.
The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the Offering for general corporate purposes, which may include working capital, continued exploration of the Lucky Shot Project and exploration of HighGold’s Johnson Tract, part of the HighGold acquisition that the Company anticipates closing by July 2024.
